The sovereignty of a nation depends on its defence. In today’s world, only those nations are considered to be strong and invincible whose defence is endowed with extraordinary capabilities. Defence strength depends on the military strength of a brave nation and a brave society. The centre of Pakistan’s military power is the Pakistan Army. Pakistan Army is the seventh largest army in the world, surpassing all other armies in the world in the spirit of patriotism, courage and bravery.

From the foundation of Pakistan till today, Pakistan Army has played a great role in every difficult situation not only for national security, but also for global peace and security. Whether, the nefarious activities of anti-Pakistan elements, threats to world peace or mutual wars and squabbles between rival countries, everywhere Pakistan Army has fulfilled its duty with wisdom, courage and bravery.

These are the invaluable services of Pakistan Army this is the reason due to which our Armed Forces are appreciated not only in Pakistan but all over the world and the rest of the Islamic world including Pakistan considers Pakistan Army as its capital and pride.

After 9/11, the world landscape changed and so did Pakistan’s landscape. On the one hand, global peace contractors in the name of terrorism pushed neighbouring Afghanistan into a quagmire of unrest, and on the other hand, imposed such a war on Pakistan. The aim was to weaken Pakistan’s defence force and demoralize the Pakistan Army.

The terrorist groups were set up against Pakistan and the peace and security was shaken by supporting other enemy countries of Pakistan including India. India was supported by the world powers in the war of 1965 and 1971. Sectarian riots escalated to import Khomeini’s revolution into Pakistan. After 9/11, these tactics intensified and pushed Pakistan into a horrific war on terror.

On the other hand, the Pakistani army and civilians were targeted on the borders of Pakistan, Military and civilian institutions, educational and other government institutions in Pakistan were attacked. The TTP was unleashed. It also introduced corrupt and traitorous people into Pakistan’s politics who played a facilitating role for Pakistan’s ideological and border enemies. To make Pakistan a terrorist and insecure country around the world. A media war was launched in which some journalists resorted to lies and dishonesty to tarnish Pakistan’s image.

In order to overcome this situation, Pakistan’s defence establishment, especially the honest and courageous soldiers of the Pakistan Army, decided to move forward. They carried out successful operations such as Operation Rah-e-Rast, Operation Rah-e-Nijat, Operation Al-Maizan, Operation Zarb-e-Azb, Operation Rad-ul-Fesad.

The world witnesses our forces perform with a complete unwavering faith and courage while attaining immortality .

Allah Almighty in Qur’an says:

 “And do not say that whoso is killed in the path of Allah his dead. No! Indeed they are alive but you do not know how” (Surah Al-Baqarah verse 154)

In Another verse Allah says:

“And do not think of those killed in Allah’s path as dead: indeed they are alive and receive their sustenance from their Lord. They rejoice in the bounty provided by Allah” (Surah, Aal-e Imran verse 169-170)

Our security forces rendered great sacrifices, because of their efforts peace has returned. It was the result of Operation Rad-ul-Fesad that the Pakistan Super League was held in Pakistan for the first time, and the tribal areas of Pakistan, which are considered the epicenter of terrorism in the eyes of the world, are today enjoying the peace and love.

New era of development and prosperity has been started there. This peace, stability and prosperity has returned because of the sacrifices of the security forces, our security forces have shed their blood in the line of defence. Their sacrifices made our defence unconquerable, strengthened and fortified the motherland by leaving no stone unturned, their services cannot be explained in words.

They always make us proud, they always stand first in the time of national crisis and natural calamities. That’s the reason people in Pakistan may or may not support any political party, but they do praise the Pakistan Army for its services. May Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of those who gave their lives for Pakistan and keep Pakistan safe. Nation salutes to the heroes who defend the motherland on all fronts and sacrifice their today for our tomorrow.
